As much as Flora tries to stay clear of the complications life throws at her, sometimes life just happens. Coming upon a freak accident on Thanksgiving Day starts Flora's course change in life. Then when she allows herself a passionate afternoon after another accidental meeting her path is paved. Follow along with Flora as she finds she has to immerse herself into a life she left, an area she left, and an emotion she quelled, sixteen years ago all for the sake of the tiniest creature. They say you can never go home again, well you can - you just may not come back from it fully in tack. What could be perfect could also be tragic, and sometimes what we sacrifice can be more than our hearts can bear. Flora writes children's books and lives alone with her chocolate lab Bo. She works in an office until her success as a writer can support her life. Flora meets a very intimidating Native American man whom she tries very hard to resist. She is not above lying or running, whichever works for her at the moment. Her relationships with her family are strained at best, and with her friends-distant. Most often she holds herself back from relationships on purpose since saddness often looms closely around her. But when a tiny creature named Ben comes into her life in need of her love and devotion she has no choice but to open her heart knowing full well that pain will befall her once again. Flora's life and ability to love are filled with angst and insecurity. She has fears that will take time to come out into the open and a history she would rather not come out at all. Working through life's issues takes time and patients, this is only the beginning for Flora, but I hope you will stick around as she grows into the wonderfull woman she is.
