About the author
Julia Jenkins lives in Florida. She has three daughters, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She started creating stories for her grandchildren when they were small. When Brittany her granddaughter was five, they made several cassette tapes, telling stories, riddles, knock-knocks, jokes and tongue twisters. Today Brittany, aka Simply Thursday, is an artist. She drew many of the characters in this book. She also makes infant and toddler clothing and handmade items for adults. Her children, Gabriel who is three and Ava Marie, who is a year and half model a lot of her clothing. Her newest little one, Xavier Isaac, born November 20, 2013 is also featured wearing a cute handmade monkey hat. You can see all of her creations on Facebook under Simply Thursday.
