Suzanne Dalton, Reader's Favorite, 5-Star Top Award winner, is the author of the humorous short story series "Poodle Possessed" for Hoflin Publishing's bimonthly international publication, Poodle Review, for 14 years. A Year Lost, A Life Gained is Suzanne's first book.
Suzanne graduated from Wayne State University with a BS in geology. She studied fine art, industrial design, watercolor, and photography at the College for Creative Studies and has a TEFL diploma and a Master's in Applied Project Management from Villanova University. As a fine artist, the GSA ranked her in the top 2% of site-specified commission fiber sculpture in the United States.
Before she retired, Suzanne worked as a software development program manager at an automotive company in Detroit, where she still lives with her husband and standard poodle, AKC Grand Champion Rosebar "Time to Party, a.k.a. Jones." Of course, being such an accomplished poodle, he prefers "Mr. Jones." She continues daily journaling about her adventures in travel, horseriding, carriage driving, weight training, and poodles.
