Description

There are many highs and lows in a woman's life. When thinking about highs, marriage and children are often the first things mentioned. But another, the death of her spouse or significant other, can be the lowest of the lows. One of the reasons it is so devastating is that she is often trying to navigate through it either by herself or with the "help" of others who may not understand what she's going through or how she really feels, "A Widow's Handbook" has been written by someone who has been there. It addresses many topics that often seem silly to a new widow; taking a piece of his clothing to bed with her, or even when to take off her wedding band. This book is meant to read like the friend sitting across the table listening to her and offering practical suggestions on how to get through her new reality. It is filled with information both lived through and gathered from others, and offers comfort, practical suggestions, and inspirations to help widows deal with their present situation.
