Description

Eleven-year-old Norah and her neighborhood friends are shocked when they meet their summer school history teacher. Not only is Mr. Briley strange--he likes to sit on top of his desk and start each class by dancing--but he's convinced he can make Norah and her friends fall in love with history! He even forms a club and makes them part of it. But the strangest thing is Mr. Briley's pocket watch, which lets people travel back in time!

When the History Buff Club goes back to 1775, Norah and her friends are shocked and excited to participate in the Boston Tea Party! As Norah breaks open tea chests alongside the colonists, she makes a personal connection between the American Revolution and her life. Will she finally understand why standing up for what she believes in is so important?
