Tayvia Pierce, the acclaimed author of the Rise of The Phoenix series, hails from southern Alberta, Canada. With a passion for travel and adventure, she initially pursued a career in tourism after high school, but life took her in a different direction. In 2005, she married and moved to central Alberta, where she became a stay-at-home mom to two children. During this time, Tayvia discovered story-based MMORPGs and was captivated by the roleplay community and collaborative storytelling. A friendly dare to write a book soon turned into a life-changing pursuit, especially after the untimely death of the friend who challenged her. Encouraged by another friend, her "Muse," Tayvia began crafting the world of Isirion and the Rise of The Phoenix series. Simultaneously, Tayvia honed her skills as a freelance copywriter, penning children's books and eBooks for several celebrities. In 2018, she returned to Southern Alberta with her two children after separating from her husband. Just a year later, she self-published her first book, A Single Spark, while working as a medical assistant. Today, Tayvia continues her literary journey, having earned her professional editing certification.
