The student or practitioner who learns and follows the information in this guide will be a solid primary care provider. This guide is a great resource for medical students to prepare for the family medicine shelf exam, and for the lay person who wants to have a more focused understanding of the common causes of common health issues. It is a more useful reference than the overwhelming information that comes from an internet search.
