Overview
A NARRATIVE OF MY ADVENTURES IN JORDAN AND EGYPT … in which I learn to eat foul, scale high cliffs, bob like a cork, descend into tombs, attempt to decipher the Book of the Dead, sail up the Nile, trek through a desert, ululate in a frenzy, explore a Bedouin village, meet wonderful people and live in the lap of luxury…
Description
Shortly before the events in Egypt that led to the fall of the Mubarak regime, the author and her husband traveled through both Jordan and Egypt. This is a compelling narrative of their adventures, the incredible sights they visited and most touching - the insight into the lives of the Jordanians and Egyptians they met along the way.
