"A Mermaid's Tale of Pearls" is the story of a little girl who comes across an enchanting Mermaid while out looking for treasure for her best friend. The little girl gets a treasure of her own; a beautiful tale told by the Mermaid about the love and friendship between the Moon and the Sea. It's a tale that covers heartbreak and hope in friendships. Sometimes we don't get the turn out we want, but a better gift we may need. We learn to grow from heartbreak and that love has many dimensions. This is not only a story for children, but for anyone who needs a gentle reminder of hope in a time of heartache.

About The Author

Jennifer Elizabeth (aka Sea Angel Jenn) has been a professional mermaid for over a decade, yet a mermaid in her heart since she was 5 years old. She performs and makes mermaid appearances around the Los Angeles area and in her hometown, Carmel, CA. Jenn loves bringing mermaid magic wherever she goes. Writing has always been her secret passion and after writing this story over 20 years ago, is happy to bring it to life to share with all. Using her mermaid talents, she scored a small role in an episode of Nickelodeon's 'Knight Squad' as a hologram mermaid fighting a wizard, and she was cast as the Mermaid in a short film (soon to be a feature) titled 'Mermaid'.  She was also mermaid consultant on the pilot of CW's "Jane the Virgin", having the production also buying one of her tails for the lead actress to use in a pool party scene. Jenn has also appeared in industrial commercials and music videos with her numerous collections of tails. Jennifer continues to write in many avenues and has few more projects in currently in motion.

Quality time with my toddler I read books to my toddler every single day. Usually my mind kind of zones out as I read yet another farm animal book or something of the sort. As I began to read this book I instantly felt a depth that most of our kid book do not have. As I continued to read the book (while my son was enamored by the beautiful illustrations) I found myself choked up cause the story struck so true in my heart. 😭 I was NOT expecting to have such a strong connection with a story about pearls but lemme just tell you it’s a story about LIFE that is beautifully told. 🥰 Add this to your collection. The Most Darling Book I purchased this book for my 4 year old daughter. She absolutely LOVES it! In fact, she has been having me read it to her, then she repeats the words, so that she can memorize it to read it to me! How sweet is that?! Its a beautiful book The artwork is a very soft watercolor that is very appropriate for mermaids and calming bedtime stories. The story its self is lovely in the way that it handles a deeply human experience and explains it in such a way that anyone could understand and identify with it.
