A Journey with GOD

Author Milita Bacon was given the gift of writing her God-Given thoughts, and perspective through the lens of strength, hope, and potential. The Holy Spirit helped her to recognize that her words truly gave life, validity, and value to God and to others—regardless of their situation or circumstance. 

Milita went on to use this empowering gift in the field of Child Welfare where she spent nearly 17 years working with and on behalf of children, families, and adoptive families. This writing gift was additionally used in Milita Bacon's career as a School Social Worker, Domestic Violence Counselor, Christian Therapist, Group Home Worker, and an Early Childhood Coordinator. In 1992, Milita had the awesome opportunity of receiving a Bachelor of Psychology Degree, and she also earned her Master of Social Work Degree in 2001.

 A Journey With God was birthed out a place of obedience and faith. God told Milita to “WRITE THE BOOKS.” He also told her to tell people just how much He loves them. The process of writing came from years of Milita internalizing her feelings. Those internalized feelings eventually erupted onto paper. There were numerous times the Holy Spirit showed Milita the carefully crafted words that God gave her to write, had a pattern of encouragement, empowerment, love, and truth.

 A Journey With God will stretch one's faith, hope, belief, and trust in God. This book helps individuals to see that they are not alone in the various trials and phases of life that must be encountered. A Journey With God will empower individuals to receive the supernatural realm of hope and desired expectation from God that only He can give—to achieve what the world considers the impossible.
