About the author
Sandy Hyatt-James is an English woman living in Bulgaria, where she used to teach English as a foreign language. She was educated at Ruskin college, Oxford. Upon completion of her studies, she spent eleven years as a child protection social worker, with the last three being in management.
Sandy has written four novels, three of which, (including A Gaze of Flint) contain adventure, romance and a tint of science fiction. Proving her writing is as eclectic as it is imaginative, she has also written a crime fiction novel.
When not writing, Sandy enjoys ten-pin bowling and being with her husband, friends and three dogs. An avid classical ballet lover, she also likes to attend the Sofia Nation Ballet, as often as she can.
