Kat Rees D'Ambola is an award-winning author, mom, singer, songwriter, nature enthusiast, and dance party expert. She resides along the Rahway River in northern New Jersey with her husband, two energetic book-loving children, one rescue mutt, and five high maintenance fish. She loves writing nature-themed stories for children, focused on concepts like confidence building, dream chasing, kindness, and gratitude. Her debut book, “A Firefly’s Journey” earned her two coveted Royal Dragonfly Book Awards in 2021 (1st Place for Best New Author, Fiction, and 2nd Place for Best Picture Book) and was inspired by her own journey as a musician in New York City.
