About the author
Dr. Melinda Hamilton graduated from Bethune-Cookman College with her Bachelor’s Degree, and her Master's and Doctorate Degree from Nova Southeastern University. Her Doctorate Degree is in Educational Leadership. She attended the Harvard summer leadership program. In 2011, she became a member of the National Doctor's Consortium. Dr. Hamilton's career includes more than 31 years as an Educator and School Administrator. She started The Hamilton and Harris Educational Consulting Group and Academic Learning Center after seeing a need of helping at-risk students. She now holds educational contracts in multiple states to improve the educational system in the United States. Dr. Hamilton also attended the Harvard University Summer Leadership Institute and has extensive experience working with women and youth. She has written the new book: “A Financially Empowered Woman: A Guide to Spiritual and Financial Success", to help guide others into making better financial choices and preparing for their future. Origianally from Florida, she currently resides in Atlanta,yet she travels all over the U.S. with her educational programs and financial empowerment message. She is a speaker, writer, educator, entrepreneur, mother and grandmother, with many years of experience and education to share with others.
