About The Author

Tsz Ki Phoebe Zhang is currently a senior from BASIS International School Guangzhou. Her hobbies include listening to music, doodling, and reading about forensic science. While she aspires to pursue a path in public health in the future, she also has profound interest for studying culture and history. On a special occasion, she was introduced to the opportunity to learn Latin, and the experience had allowed her to gain insights into the enduring impact of Latin and the Roman culture along with knowledge and concepts that cover the grammatical rules of the language. In the book "A Day in Pompeii", she included important Roman deities, key structures and architecture in cities, as well as translations for readers to get a glimpse into the Latin language. She wishes for more people to understand why Latin is important and to treasure the culture and language that played key roles in shaping contemporary societies, so she created this book with her friend. They hope that readers can enjoy the book and learn a lot from it.
