About the author
Mike is a conservationist and naturalist at heart and very much enjoys the outdoors - especially the animals. Growing up in a family that traveled extensively across much of the western United States, Mexico and Canada, there were many opportunities for Mike to explore the mountains and deserts in the region. It was the animals, however, that got most of his attention. Mike was constantly engaged catching, studying and sharing everything he could get his hands on, sometimes much to the chagrin of his parents. Mike has experience handling a wide variety of reptiles, mammals and birds. As a licensed falconer, his neighbors and the local game warden regularly called upon him to help rescue and rehabilitate injured or confiscated owls and hawks. Mike’s love of animals can be seen and felt in this wonderful presentation about rescuing a helpless crow. His family’s journey with Lucky is heartwarming, informative and at times humorous. Don’t miss this opportunity to look into the mind of the crow!
