A Collection of Poems: Of Family, Friends, Places and Times is a culmination of some poems written from 1991 to the present date. These poems tell of friendship, love, family and times.

These 69 poems are poems from Jordan Shadows' heart and from our Holy Spirit. Without hearing these words from Him I could not have, in my wildest dreams, written these words put down in this book. This 20 year endeavor has given me, Jordan Shadows, many pleasures and much satisfaction. At the beginning of these writings it was salvation letters to the lost. I sometimes referred to these as mini-sermons. Then the books started appearing in my mind and now it is poetry which occupies my thoughts most of the time. These poems are poems of love, my inspirations and friendships of my past, present and of the future to come. Day to day experiences of life and love and friendships are the inspirations of these writings with guidance from the Holy Spirit. Without Him I could not have written these words.

Jordan Shadows is a 65 year old retired person that writes from his heart and of his own experiences and of his life with wife, Jill. From the age of 4, Jill and Jordan have known each other and 15 years later they were married after a very short , short engagement. During these times Jordan Shadows has written many books and poems containing salvation messages and love. Becoming a born again Christian in 1991 at the age of 44, Jordan has been given the charge by God the Father to write His words. Jordan has accepted this challenge and has been writing ever since. There has been over 500 salvation letters and over 20 books written about God's words of love and salvation, with Jordan's love for Jill being explored in The Book: The Touch of Life - Nine Lustrums of Love.
