About The Author

Mike Platt never imagined he would become a children's author. Inspired by the birth of his first daughter and his desire to pass down his family's passion for Philadelphia sports, he turned one of the greatest moments in Philadelphia football history into a heartfelt rhyming story for young readers. His books celebrate hope, perseverance, and the traditions that connect generations.

A lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, Mike enjoys following the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and 76ers and making new memories with his wife and their two daughters. He lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and is already at work on his next book.
