About the author
Born in Trenton NJ, raised in North Philadelphia. Carmen comes from a large family, seven sisters and one brother. Carmen attended public school and her love for poetry began at a young age of thirteen. As a young teenager, her favorite writers were Mayo Angelou and Langston Hughes. This forty year old, takes pride in being the mother of five young men, in which have supported her in every way possible. Carmen is mostly described as energetic, friendly, loyal, committed and most of all dedicated. When you think of the word adventure you can't help yourself but to think of Carmen as well.
