Writing Sonnets in Your Sleep

This is a casual approach to learning how to write the SHAKESPEREAN SONNET and other forms of poetry.

Understanding a sonnet and what it is among other poets can do a lot for writing your own. The Shakespearean Sonnet is probably the most difficult of the sonnet forms, but with a little practice, and a little knowledge, and a little determination, and a little heart, you can do it, too. Did I mention sleepless nights? And knowing about the Muses and who they were and what they can do for a poet? It is all in this casual approach to writing Shakespearean Sonnets, and it even tells you which of the nine Muses will be singing for you when you write. If you are very good, and very lucky, and very persistent, all nine of them will join in a choir for you some night. Then, what a beautiful sonnet you will write!
