Overview
Word Storms is a collection of stories that encompass a wide range of people, places, times and situations.
Description
Word Storms is a collection of stories that encompass a wide range of people, places, times and situations. It starts off with Portraits of Carrolltown, a story told in 30 individually titled vignettes, averaging one-half to three pages. This story is best read in one sitting, in order to absorb the emotional thread tying them together. We then proceed to the types of flash stories for which we are known, and wrap up our excursion into the bizarre and unusual with Wheelchair Power, an eight-part adventure featuring an unlikely hero and lots of twists and turns. There is also a bonus story by a previously unpublished author, Silver Gladstar, that we believe has a unique voice for fantasy.
About the author
Mizeta Moon, who lives and writes in Portland, Oregon, is author or co-author, of four previous books (Embracing Evil; Snapshots:Flash Stories from Random Lives; Aliens, Fish Tales & Flying Hooves; Monkey Casserole). She is also an active member of the Gresham (Oregon) Seniors’ Writing Group and a co-founder of SpearPoint Publications.
