Overview
Winston Rabbit is a small boy rabbit who gets seriously confused about the concept of time.
Description
Winston Rabbit becomes confused about Daylight Savings Time, and is determined he can "save time" - ANY type of time - simply by winding his watch backwards. He saves "sleeping time"; time for extra recess, and gets in trouble with his sweetheart, missing the big events of the Pumpkin Pageant. Finally, he carries on his confusion into time zones, and gives his grandmother a sweet, but VERY EARLY wake up call.
About the author
From an early age, Bill described himself as a creative artist and "wannabe" writer. "Winston Rabbit" is Bill's second children's book. Bill has been called the quintessential renaissance man", and indeed, as Corporate Executives go, he did not fit the mold. After slogging it out for 30 years in the business world, he finally took the plunge to tackle his lifelong writing passions with full force. Since his "reallocation" from Corporate America in 2008, Bill has published three books, "Why is the Soft-Side the Hardest Part?", "That's in the Bible?", and "Witch's Stew". He has also written a full-length feature film screenplay ("Out of the Heart), which won "Best Thriller" feature at the Illinois International Film Festival. He has authored numerous short stories, poems, songs, song-lyrics, and numerous articles for a variety of publications, and also published his first CD of original piano compositions entitled "Possibility". He has been a contributing author to numerous other author's works, as well. He married with five children and soon-to-be seventeen grandchildren. He currently also volunteers for the U.S. Naval Academy Admissions Office, Unity Point Health Proctor Hospital, and teaches driver safety to senior citizens through AARP.
