Born and raised in the Bronx, my dad was an NYPD officer and my mom was an executive at Texaco, Inc. I had a Catholic School upbringing, attending St.Lucy's Grammar School followed by Cardinal Spellman High School, both in the Bronx. I went on to Pace University where I played four years on the baseball team. After my four years I went to work in Manhattan bouncing from job to job. In 1993 my older brother Lenny, who meant so much to me, guided me to my current profession of teaching. I started out teaching in the Bronx for 1 year, then Queens, NY for 7, and for the last 17 I have taught in the Levittown School District.
I live in the beach community of Long Beach, NY with my amazing life-partner Linda, and my beautiful daughter Zoe. We are constantly entertained by our Black Lab Percy!
