What Do You See?
by Grasetta Douglas

Overview

This book is dedicated to my daughter Abby. During her first year in school she began to realize that she looked different than others. She had a plethora of questions regarding the differences in her skin, hair, and other physical features. Seeing her not only go through that situation but grow through that situation influenced the writing of this book. No child should ever feel like they aren't enough or someone else is better than them. All children should learn at an early age to embrace their differences and love who they are. My hope is that this book propels young children as well as parents to love themselves for who they are and not who the world believes they should be.
