Were You born a Dragon Too?

This is the second book of stories the author told his children as they were growing up. The theme of this story is that learning can be fun and the value of a good education.

Having a last name like Dragon can mean many things. For Steve Dragon it meant he could tell his children stories relating to their name. He told stories of being able to turn into a dragon and fly away to have adventures in the Land of Dragons. In this second book Steve tells of his children's return to their ancestral home to celebrate Rachel's first birthday with other dragons. While there Steven is wisked away by his two dragon teachers who will show him the importance of getting a good education while learning what it means to be a dragon. At first Steven is reluctant to learn but by the end of his first class, can't wait to continue his schooling. Three new dragons are introduced in this book and they can't wait to meet you.

Steve Dragon started telling his daughter these stories when she was 3 years old. With the help of her older brother Steven Jr. she believed the stories as much as she believed in Santa Claus. Steve has been a volunteer firefighter and fire service instructor since 1975. Steven Jr. now has 2 sons and the stories are being told to them.
