Born in Brooklyn, NY James grew up wanting to be a musician and a writer. Wake Up Singing is the authors first effort at achieving both goals. The 108 page book and Eleven Track Music Album take you through a variety of styles and stories. Through Prose, photography, hand sketches and songs you are given a window into his life. James currently lives in Manhattans West Village.
