Overview
Point Pelee National Park is the southernmost extension of mainland Canada into Lake Erie of the Great Lakes. A pristine natural habitat, it is home to many plant and animal species that visit and live in its marsh, bush and constantly evolving sand spit and beaches. Poet Doug Peters wanders the point on Canadian Thanksgiving Monday 2011 and lyrically reflects upon the physical and spiritual importance on both its and man's relevance in today's world and that which has been and is to come, through his personal recollection of past times at the point and Life lessons he has learned up to that moment in Time. Themes such as conscience, relevance, awareness, etc., mixed with an everyday application to the approach of everyday issues that can be related to by all, especially while soul searching through a truthful heart. His main epic poem relating to the title of this book is followed by a series of shorter poems which relate to the topic material in different ways involving spiritually inspirational commonalities to all.
