Overview

Do you struggle with caring for yourself, especially when it comes to food and body image? In Un-Less, you will learn to trust giving yourself more of what you need, not less. Using guided mindful journaling, you will explore the ways of thinking that created habits which undermined your true well-being. You will free yourself to eat and exercise in a way that creates real self-care, radiance and joy. This book is for everyone, from those recovering from disordered eating habits, to those who want to improve their health without deprivation and extremes. Using her own story, current research and timeless mindful principles, Caitlin Hildebrand, a Nurse Practitioner, and Yoga and Mindfulness teacher, will help you write your own guide to wellness.

Description

"Un-Less: Mindful Journaling for Body Positivity, Wellness and Unconditional Self-Love", provides a scientific yet intuitive approach to improving your eating habits and body image.  Mindfulness involves paying attention, to the present moment, without judgment, and with loving-kindness. The book contains 122 journal prompts and space to reflect on how to change your thought patterns, nourish yourself without judgement, and cultivate self-compassion. This new orientation to eating creates liberation from the degrading self-criticism that Diet Culture creates. The Un-Less journaling exercises are grounded Motivational Interviewing, a proven way to help people create strategies to improve health behaviors for the long-term. With Un-Less you write your own guide to coping with stress and making peace with food, creating holistic health, balance, and radiance.
