Overview
Turning Bing Into Bucks is a book about growing your business by leveraging your technology around todays Search engine, social media and the Internet. It is based on real-life experience within my own business, businesses I've consulted with and for, and clients from yesterday and today.
Description
A book about Bing? At first, it didn't make sense. No one says go "Bing" it (except me) and Bing only holds the minority of the Search market. So why? Why a book on Bing? Then, I realized that while Google is the king today, Bing = Microsoft and these days, Microsoft is everywhere. Plus, the reality is this is a book about growing your business, specifically through the Internet, social media, mobile computing and the like. So while the Search market and the Internet are fluid, and things do change from time to time, there are tried and true principles that will never change. In fact, they will only increase in effectiveness as the Internet grows and traditional techniques fade away. What you'll find inside are proven ways for you to leverage technology and grow your business. They are based on the rock-solid strategies that I have been using with my clients for years. The results speak for themselves. Of course, there are elements that change from time to time, and when we came across one of those, we decided to add an online section of this book for those of you who want the latest and greatest. Look for the big boxes that say "Try This" that will take you to website pages with detailed and current data on a particular topic. One piece of advice: use the Try This. They will help you get more insights and more tips. On that note, the difference between average businesses and great businesses comes down to implementation. One often differs from another only in their willingness to implement the things they learn. The same is true for the information in this book. It works, and similar to everything you learned in school, it only works when implemented. You knowing all of this information won't help you make any more money or sell your services or even your business for more. When you implement it, this information that can help you grow your business, help more people, create a more stable business, and fulfill your business objectives.
