DeVine spent two and half years working as a tutor and library clerk at a federal prison where she came up with the fictional stories of, highly educated and professional women doing time and how they and their families survived. Each story is about a professional woman and those whose lives touch hers. The all stories except one (Trucker's Nightmare) are related to professional women who have fallen short of grace and end up in prison. She explores the emotional and physical hardship prison life has on the woman, the public humiliation the family has to endure and the effects the legal action has on the community. The stories are very vivid with great details. If you are interested in learning more contact her at DeVineBooks@ymail.com
