About the author
F. B. Bennett is the real person of whom the character Helen is based. Like Helen, F. B. Bennett has many years of experience in the retail grocery business, both as a cashier and sacker for the real Hungry Harry's supermarket chain, the subject of this book. She has also worked in the legal and shipping industries, as well as the restaurant industry. Ms. Bennett attended St. Petersburg (Fla.) Junior College and is a graduate of PTEC, the St. Petersburg Vocational Technical Institute's Secretarial program. She was both a 'chorus geek' and a basketball player in junior high and high school. Her hobbies include singing, playing guitar, poetry and writing. Born in Philadelphia, Ms. Bennett resided in New Jersey, Florida, Massachusetts and currently lives in New Hampshire with her husband, daughter and son. This is her second book. Her first book, a mystery titled "Saturday Night Dead" is available on Amazon.com, Apple i-books, Barnes & Noble.com and several other online platforms.
