Overview
This book is intended to be a prayer tool, walking the reader through the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The book highlights how Mary, the mother of Jesus can be a traveling companion throughout the Exercises, in the hope of making it a more approachable and less intimidating experience.
Description
This book delves into the four "weeks" that comprise the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises. It begins with a brief history of St Ignatius of Loyola and looks at how he developed his spirituality. It then discusses some "tools" needed to begin the "weeks" of the Spiritual Exercises. Each "week" is a separate chapter of the book and is comprised of daily scripture verses, prayers, artwork and musical suggestions to help the reader enter into a more authentic and deeper relationship with God.
