About the author
Anthony Swann grew up in Crosslake Minnesota. When he was in high school, a cousin from Laguna Beach, California gave him two Louis Armstrong albums that changed his life. He became a jazz aficionado. He has lived in Minneapolis, San Franscio and Las Vegas. He is also a student of Latin Americian culture and has lived in Mexico and Brazil. His book of poems, PAINT WITH WORDS, was published in 2016 and a CD of his poetry in 2009. His jazz novel TO SEARCH THE NIGHT was published in 2018. He now lives and is active in the vibrant arts community of the city of Bemidji, in northern Minnesota.
