Thumperino Superbunny and the Pirates of the High Seas is the third installment in the children’s book series Thumperino Superbunny by Amber L. Spradlin. Thumperino is an adventurous house rabbit blessed with super-powers and a duty to make the world a better place. About the author
Amber L. Spradlin is the author and creator of the action hero series Thumperino Superbunny and the newly released You-Color-It Storybook A Cow Named Cow, 2014’s Creative Child magazine Book of the Year Award Winner, which reached #1 in sales its first week on the market. The first two books in the Thumperino series have been named Winners of the 2014 Pacific Book Award. Thumperino Superbunny and the Christmas Star Caper, book two, won the 2013 Book of the Year Award from Creative Child magazine and was named first finalist in the 2013 National Indie Excellence Book Awards. Book one, Thumperino – Diary of a Superbunny, is the Winner of 2014’s Creative Child magazine Preferred Choice Award, has appeared on NBC’s The Michael J. Fox Show, reached number one on the Top 100 Children’s Books list February 2014 and March 2013, it also topped the “What’s Hot” list from Creative Play Retailer. LittleFreeLibrary.org, a charitable organization providing neighborhood library stewardship worldwide, offers the Thumperino Superbunny and Cow series in lending boxes. The books debuted at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair in Italy and have been accepted into the Library of Congress and The National Library of Scotland. Ms. Spradlin regularly presents author visits at libraries around the country where she reads live action segments of the books. She is currently a partner with the New York based theatrical production company G&W Entertainment, a member of the opera comedy team Operation Opera, a founding member of the theatre and dance company Making Faces Productions, based in Los Angeles, and served as the first Production Manager for independent record label, Shark Meat Records, based in Miami. She is a member of Grammy (NARAS – National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences), a graduate of the University of Washington School of Drama in Seattle, and was nominated for the Kennedy Center's Irene Ryan Acting Award.
