About the author
Mike Drake has more than twenty years of experience in technology solution sales. He has successfully sold in industries ranging from Clinical Laboratory Services, to physicians, to Chemical and Biological Information Management Systems, to research organic chemists in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, Mike sells Predictive Analytics and Business Intelligence soft-ware, Modernizing Data Architecture platforms, AI, and Digital Transformation Cloud Solutions to Fortune 500 companies across multiple verticals. Mike was honored as the first software vendor to receive the prestigious Eli Lilly and Co. "Vendor of the Year Award." He set sales records, winning awards as a top producing rep for various companies, including SAS, Dell, Quest Diagnostics, and Reed Elsevier/MDL Information Systems. Mike earned his MBA and BA in Economics from Rutgers University. He co-authored "A Marketing Analysis of the Home Healthcare Industry" with Dr. G. Lee Southard, Ph.D., the former head of R&D at Johnson and Johnson, selling more than sixty copies at several thousand dollars each to major Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Corporations. Mike lives in Morristown, NJ, with his wife Debbie where they raised their 2 sons, Matt and Chris, and daughter Amelia.
