Overview

If you've ever thought about adopting or have already rescued a pet from an animal shelter, this book is for you.  Animals in shelters face an uncertain if not tragic future, especially seniors and those with special needs.  Buddy the senior Pug needs more than luck to get adopted, but with the help of some canine friends he may just find his Forever Family in time.  All profits from sales of this book will be donated to pet rescue organizations.  Please Adopt! Don't shop!

Description
Buddy the old Pug's life is turned around when he ends up at the animal shelter and finds himself facing mean dogs, cold cages, and the scary "Room in the Back". Will he meet his Forever Family before it's too late? Based on how the author and his family adopted the real-life "Buddy" from the shelter, this illustrated book for young readers gives a fictional dog's eye view of what happens in shelters to the animals placed there and shows the importance of pet adoption in a bittersweet, yet light-hearted way. All profits from sales of this book will be donated to pet rescue organizations.
About the author
John A. Gregory is an award-winning news anchor/reporter in Los Angeles, California. He, his wife and three children share their home with three rescue dogs and two rescue cats.
