Description
Buddy the old Pug's life is turned around when he ends up at the animal shelter and finds himself facing mean dogs, cold cages, and the scary "Room in the Back". Will he meet his Forever Family before it's too late? Based on how the author and his family adopted the real-life "Buddy" from the shelter, this illustrated book for young readers gives a fictional dog's eye view of what happens in shelters to the animals placed there and shows the importance of pet adoption in a bittersweet, yet light-hearted way. All profits from sales of this book will be donated to pet rescue organizations.
