Description
This is a multi-layered, novel which explores many complex aspects of human relationships. Mike and his girlfriend Rosie embark on a sometimes bizarre journey, where fate swings their fortunes like a pendulum, fro love to hate and from treachery to tragedy. The fact that Mike's dealer had failed to show up would be the catalyst for the couples dangerous adventure. Why, because their addiction compels them to steal from the type of people that would stop at nothing to retrieve their treasure. Slowly they become entangled in a web of their own making. The story begins in London when Rosie receives a gift that she may later regret.
About the author
When I was sixteen I ran away from home and embarked on a journey that would impact my whole life. Intially I found myself sleeping on a beach in Cornwall, during the 'long hot summer of 76'. Later I sneaked into a hostle in London where I was looked after by a group of sailors, until I was caught by a cleaner. However, despite many dramatic events, it was the emotional resonance of the people I met on my journey that has directed my course through life in later years and a haunting question...'Why is it that some people jump out of the way of the on coming traffic, whilst others are struck down.
