Description
German train engineer Sebastian Braun saves the life of a wounded imperial army corporal by the name of Adolph Hitler, beginning a decades-long relationship over which Sebastian has little to no control. Sebastian walks a perilous tightrope between a mystically grateful Hitler and a close friendship with a Jewish university professor as the German rise to power stampedes through the 1930s and 1940s. The Braun family struggles to say safe, but the Nazi death machine continues to devour everything in its path—one of Sebastian's sons joins the Nazi party, and his daughter Eva becomes a Hitler consort and ultimately, his wife. Following up on Volume 1, "Tattered Blue Cloth: Volume 2" continues the story of Hitler's devastating impact on the entire global community, as the horrors of war eventually overtake Sebastian and his family with devastating consequences.
