This book is my mother's story through my eyes. This story will be easy to relate to for many women young and old alike. It will take you on a journey with the main character and back home again. The book tells of good times and sad and unfortunate times that my mother experienced throughout her lifetime, experiences that many women will be able to relate to. The book contains much detail about places and people. At the end of the book, I make allusion to four strong women of the Bible. The story also contains some Bible verses.
About the author
Janie Sosa Gil was born in New York State and is of Spanish, English and Scottish descent. She has been married to her husband Felix for 48 years. She is mother to Felix, Antonio, Erik and Victor and has 16 grandchildren. Janie has been a born again Christian for the past 40 years and has a diploma of Christian Ministry and Theology and a Teacher's Certification of Christian Education from the Spanish Eastern District of the Assemblies of God. Janie is a breast cancer survivor, having been diagnosed in November 1995. Janie is currently retired having worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician for 20 years. Today she is caregiver to her mother and sister. She has written two previous books," Fear Not, God Always Has A Plan" and "No Temas, Dios Siempre Tiene Un Plan" Janie enjoys spending time with her family, worshiping the Lord and doing genealogy. She is grateful to God for all His goodness, love, mercies and great faithfulness. Her favorite saying is: "All that God has done for me has been good"
