Born Isaiah Drone III in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 19,1976, Isaiah, so named by his army comrades in the U.S. Army Band and Chorus in Germany. He begin playing music at the tender age of three years old with a set of drums his mother brought him to keep him relaxed. Isaiah seemed to learn how to play many instruments by the time he reached his teens. Isaiah was being invited to play in the top clubs around town where he displayed his musical abilities. He became a sought after musician when still in his teens and conducting business with veteran musicians and club owners. “I came up in a strong church background. My mother was a faithful church member and I grew up playing music in church,” Drone, a Little Rock native who plays drums, guitar, piano, and organ, went to college and majored in jazz performance. After playing gigs around town at nightclubs, hotels and private functions, he joined the Army and became a member of the U.S. Army Band. Isaiah Drone takes pride in every assignment he does and always stays ahead of the game when it comes to experimentation and creativeness in a musical sense.
