About the author

Connor Vallee was always a very creative and imaginative kid. He had the idea of Annie from a very young age, but it wasn't until college that he decided to write a book. During his undergraduate program, he began his transition from female to male. This transition proved to be one of the most difficult experiences of his life and through it he learned that fighting for what you want is worth every impossible moment. After graduating with a BA in animation and graphic design, he spent a year working on his book and interning for different companies. Eventually deciding that animation was not the career for him, Connor applied to the graduate counseling program at Montclair State University. While making this decision, he had undergone three surgeries for chronic pain. He is currently living in New Jersey with his wonderful family and is proud to release "The Powerful" after 7 years of dedication.
