About the author
About the author Name: Peter J. Oh Reporter at Radio Free Asia Escaped from North Korea in 2000 Entered South Korea in 2003 Master's Degree in Law Studies from Yonsei University in 2011 MIPP at Elliot School International Affairs from George Washington University 2020 Peter escaped North Korea in 2000 and resettled in South Korea, and then came to the United States in 2010. He currently works as a reporter at Radio Free Asia (RFA). While living in North Korea, Peter worked in the Ministry of State Security (MSS) for several years, and after defecting, made his way to South Korea traveling through China and Mongolia. His RFA articles have been quoted in major US media outlets such as the New York Times and the Washington Post, many South Korean media outlets such as Chosun Ilbo, KBS, and Yonhap News, etc.
