It is a sign of wisdom when we seek insight into a struggle in a relationship, at work, with our parents or children, or when we face uncertainty about our place in the world.

With characteristic humor and warmth, Jack Elias shares the exercises and techniques that have brought rapid, positive results to people throughout the world, in his workshops and private sessions, and in the Finding True Magic courses in Transpersonal Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy/NLP based on his book.

Written in collaboration with Ceci Miller, these simple yet profound exercises are grouped according to the most common problems people face in overcoming personal struggles.

Jack was an early student of Zen teacher Suzuki Roshi and Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and both Jack and Ceci are longtime students of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche. Jack bring a boisterous delight to learning timeless Eastern and Western insights for applying mindfulness and compassion to the noble cause of personal transformation.

"I have known Jack for 30 years as a fellow mediator. I recently have had the opportunity to work with him on 2 very important personal issues, and I can truly say his insight and skillfulness as a hypnotherapist is quite remarkable––in fact, astoundingly direct. He transmits the wisdom of the meditative tradition in an easily comprehensive way. I am looking forward to learning his methods for use with my own patients."

—James S., M.D., Consultation & Neuropsychiatry

“I wanted to thank you for helping me release many years of pain and agony. I have a sense of rebirth that is full of blessings and new experiences, and now I am truly living in the light of pure unconditional love and acceptance.”

—Lorraine D., Entrepreneur

“I can’t find any boundaries to the application of this material in my work with people to assist their healing, as well as in my own personal and spiritual growth. I wholeheartedly recommend Jack’s course to colleagues, to anyone in the health professions, and to anyone interested in deep healing, or personal transformation. This is work that can change the world — both inner and outer.”

—Julie Hurlocker, MD, Diplomate American Board of Family Practice

“Six years of university training in psychology, twenty years as a counselor, and countless years of spiritual quest, culminating in the discovery of Jack’s course: a psychology firmly rooted in profound spiritual wisdom.”
—Jeannie M., MA, Psychologist

Jack’s approach steps out beyond formula and limitation. Knocks down boundaries and provides the ground for moments of true insight, self-discovery, and awake-ness. The first night, it became obvious that we were going to experience Hypnotherapy at its core. I’ve never been through something like this with a group of people. Real change occurred in everyone, from the processes, the group dynamic, and Jack’s delightfully open and humorous approach.”

—Peter R., Black Belt Martial Artist, Musician

“The Finding True Magic course helped me connect more deeply with my inner wisdom and compassion. It gave me easy-to-use techniques to assist patients and their families to draw on their own powerful inner resources to deal with illness and loss. It has been 10 years since I took the course for the first time. What I learned continues to enrich all aspects of my life.”

—Carol M., RN, CHT

“Jack’s work is full of heart. With his outstanding clarity, he has helped me correct fundamental flaws in my thinking process, resulting in an increase in overall energy and awareness. His effect on many patients I know has empowered them to change limiting beliefs that had handicapped them in their growth and expression.”

—Daniel Lewis, DC, Chiropractor

“Since 1979 I have worked in residential treatment centers, mental health centers, and private practice with individuals, couples, groups and families. In all my experience, nothing has been as effective in promoting change in people’s lives as the techniques I learned in Jack Elias’ Finding True Magic course.”

—Patricia Ann Williams, MD, Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist
