About the author
Doug Bicknese was born in The Hague, Netherlands on July 21st, 1949. He immigrated to the United States with his family two years later and grew up in Port Washington, Long Island. He went on to pursue a Masters Degree in Biochemistry at Long Island University. After working in the field of immunology for several years he went on to teach Physics and Earth Science at Martin Van Buren High School in New York City. He later taught at W. T. Clarke High School in East Meadow. Mr. Bicknese is currently retired and living on Long Island.
