The Mist Twins books follow identical twin sisters, Opti and Pessi, as they tackle every day experiences. Opti has an easier time with things and Pessi seems to struggle. About the author
Lauren Nelson is a wife and mother who has spent most of her life working with babies and children. She has a background in Early Childhood Education and tries to surround herself with kids and animals at all times. Her experiences over the years have inspired her to write books for children that they can easily relate to. Her goal is to help the kids learn a bit more about themselves, provide them with coping tools for a happier life, and instill a love of reading that will follow them into adulthood. Lauren loves reading, dancing, singing, traveling, and rainbows. She is also working on an autobiography of her life and hopes to complete it before she forgets everything that has happened. Her husband promises to buy her a llama if she becomes a successful author.
