About the author


Audrey Daum is a Senior Vice President Investments in the Boston Office of Moors & Cabot. Audrey was a Director-Investments at Oppenheimer & Co from Sept. 2010 through April 2017. As a Financial Advisor, she works with individuals and small business owners on portfolio management, estate and retirement planning, as well as providing seminars and educational tools for those families that need them. She is a passionate advocate of financial literacy and has spoken at MIT and other venues on the importance of financial literacy education. Ms. Daum holds an MBA in Finance and Corporate Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management, spent two years at Harvard Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, and holds an undergraduate degree from Northeastern University. She has been named a Five Star Wealth Manager in Boston Magazine from 2011 to present. Audrey is a Board Member and Chair of Women's Events of the MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association and has served as President and Treasurer. She has also served on the Executive Council for Ellevate Networks', Boston Chapter and has partnered with invest In Girls, hosting events on the importance of learning basic financial concepts from an early age. She is the proud owner of a beautiful Samoyed named Phoebe (her third) and a rescue kitty named Gingery. Her last Samoyed, Maribou, earned her championship title in record time.
