The Last Hobbs

An autobiography of Wayne Hobbs covering 67 years of his life and times. The book is a walk through his life with many stories about living and raising a family in a small, southern Indiana community. At age 55, after losing a job during the Great Recession, he and his wife moved to Colorado, joining their three daughters and six grandkids.

Wayne's autobiography covers 67 years of his life. He was raised in a small, southern Indiana community. He grew up in a household with his parents and younger sister. The book was written with the purpose of sharing stories about his life, as well as telling many stories about his parents, grandparents and friends. He always dreamed about the lives and times of his ancestors, but really couldn't find much information about them. He wrote this book with the intention of sharing stories with future generations of his family. He is the last male Hobbs in his family.

Wayne was raised in the Southern Indiana town of St. Meinrad, during the 1950's and 1960's. He continued living, working and raising a family in Indiana until 2008, when a move was made to Colorado. This book is a walk through his life with many stories about his family and experiences. It covers a span of 67 years.
