About the author
Jahi, originally from Cleveland, Ohio, now residing in Oakland, California is an MC, artist and educator. He is a member of the prolific rap group Enemy Radio with Chuck D, DJ Lord, and the S1Ws. As a solo artist, Jahi has released 17 albums, tours internationally, and has taught Hip Hop at various universities. The Intersection between Hip Hop Culture and Education shares Jahi's journey presenting Hip Hop culture in 20 museum spaces all over the world. The style of Hip Hop culture being represented is more conscious than commercial, more life affirming over materialism.
