"In between school, sports, activities and friends, many parents struggle to find time to teach their children the basics of money management or don't feel prepared to be the teacher. Regardless of the reason why, our children need to understand how money works because everyone handles money, often sooner than we think." This book is a tool to help you start the conversation with children ages 4-9 years old.
About the author
Shannon Ryan is a Certified Financial Advisor and has worked with individuals and businesses for 20 years, helping them build finanical strategies. Over the years, she's learned that how you think about money is the key to financial success. With this in mind, she started working with her daughters at a very young age to help them build a positive relationship with money. The first book in The Heavy Purse Series was written with her two daughters as they wanted to help teach other children that managing money can be as easy as save, spend and share.
