by Dr. Tricia Wolanin

Overview
This self help book explores how living life as a tourist in your own backyard can be as effective as any daily meditation. The Fragrance of Wanderlust serves as a mindfulness project that I prescribed myself, and encourage others to replicate. Each day focuses on a day's theme on how one can live life through the eyes of a tourist. The beginning of the sections begin with a travel quote and ends with reflective questions or homework assignments for readers to engage in their own journey throughout the 40 days.
Description
As a psychologist who has worked with a variety of populations throughout America, I understand the universality of depression, anxiety, and pain. Additionally I admit I have burned out in serving the multitude of populations and being emotional caretaker to my family and loved ones. During this time period I worked with active duty marines and sailors, while living in Hawaii. The Fragrance of Wanderlust is a self help book that focuses on 40 tips one can do to live life as a tourist in their hometown. About the author
Dr. Tricia Wolanin, Psy.D. is an author, psychologist, coach, yoga instructor, international speaker, and consultant. By the age of 25, Tricia Wolanin received her doctorate in clinical psychology. In her last semester of graduate school, she took an extra loan of $10,000 to fund a three month backpacking trip to Europe. The wanderlust bug in her was ignited and has stayed heightened from that point on. She has found a way to take her career to numerous states throughout America, despite the stability a career like psychology requires. Tricia has worked with special forces, active duty soldiers, college students, homeless families, developmentally disabled, incarcerated, and inner city families. Regardless of the population she worked with or the city she lived in, she noticed the universality in her clients' stories. Her passion has been to assist others to follow their passions and deepen their connections with themselves, loved ones, and foster a sense of community. Tricia has been working in her dream job in Europe integrating psychology, mindfulness, yoga, facilitating retreats and workshops, while serving others in a preventive holistic program. She is currently certified in Yoga (500 RYT), and as an executive coach. Tricia's ongoing quest is finding inner satisfaction and balancing her ever expanding hobbies. Her zest for life fuels her drive to share these tips with others. For more information follow her at unfoldyourbliss.com
