Overview

"The Esther Experience" - is a women's group study written to journey through the biblical book of Esther. Many people have read the story of Esther or have even heard it preached across the pulpit. However, this group study has been written in a way that women today could identify with most of the situations, obstacles and expectations that existed during those times. This group study is written in a way for woman to ask themselves some self-reflecting questions. It also allow women to recognize their worth and to stand firm on what they believe, no matter the consequences. There are "Self-Observation" and "Boomerang" moments in the book that will give women the chance to journal their thoughts to specific questions that are asked throughout this read. Yes, there are journal pages that are included so that you may write your answers right in the book! The Idea is that anyone who picks up this study would read it, and walk away confident and encouraged. Not as a feeling that could easily fade away, but as a change of lifestyle. Living and walking in the purpose and will of God.

About the author
As a young girl, I always knew that I wanted to be a writer. I loved to read as far back as I could remember. Even between the precious ages of six and eight, I would imagine what the authors thoughts were? How did their brain work in such a way that they could bring words together to tell a story? Being intrigued by this thought throughout the years, I began to write poetry and the idea was to build my imagination to the point of creatively writing children's books. As years passed, the idea of being an author, I desired, however the reality of it started to fade away. It wasn't until my early thirties that I had decided to pursue the thought of authorship, again. Well, I would start writing but I found that I could not complete my story. (a lot of that due to being overly critical of myself). Eventually, I took the pressure of completing a book based on this imaginary deadline, to just writing when I felt led to. And that's what I did. Although "The Esther Experience" is not my first writing project, it is my first completed project. I was given the task of teaching our Women's Ministry through our church a study on the biblical book of Esther. As I prepared for this task and begin to write, I realized how the layout in which I wrote this study presented as a book. I realized how God had allowed me to unconsciously do the very thing I longed. I realized that my personal challenge was getting pass the intimidation of writing a book that would be acceptable, and to just write! There was a seed of authorship planted within me a long time ago, that I am blessed to see come to pass. There are a few books that have been planted within my spirit and I truly believe that, by the aide of the Holy Spirit, God will allow them all to come forth, and so much more. Thirty two years later, who would have thought?
